Aidan Rosser My life

 Hi Can you help me?

As I am to young to write or type my dad is typing assuming my thoughts and needs as a family!!
My dad has put together this website at the request of friends, hoping that if we raise the awareness of my condition then we may be able to find answers. There are so many charity and fund raising ideas out there, My dad thought that this would be a great idea. I am a brother and son to a wonderful family, my brothers Finnley age 5 and Jacob age 7 are very keen Swansea City fans and football mad and they also play Rugby for a local team.  My sister Hollie is also active and currently does street dance, she is age 10, i also have a new addition a little brother named Sonny who was born on March 3rd 2012.

My dad and mum, both are very concerned parents, as there are no answers of why I am the way I am. My story is very clear, I cant have an operation to make me better, I am known as a SWAN (Syndrome Without A Name) I cant speak, crawl, sit or walk or stand I will be 3 years old in May 2012 and have no diagnosis.  I have had a number of tests, MRI scan, blood tests, you name it I have had it, as a new born child i was 2 weeks overdue and had to be induced, but we as a family are still in living in limbo as we need answers!
I currently have physio once a week, although I need more physio, this is all that is available.

Because of my condition unfortunately i cant go to the same school as my brothers and sister I am going to school in September at Penllergaer Swansea.

Being a parent is demanding enough besides caring for a child with no diagnosis and needs. I don’t particularly sleep during the night as I am very restless throughout.

I have started shouting and making noises but don’t really communicate.   I smile a lot to my new Brother Sonny, I can touch and reach for my favourite toy, I know when my name is being called, but most of all, my older brothers want me to play the sporting activity that they do. We don’t really know if I would be able to walk or play football, but it would be nice to have the opportunity. I receive constant love and attention from my brothers and sister and always laugh and chuckle when they play with me. My dad says i am Unique and very special.
We are looking for kind donations/fundraising ideas to build funds for Aidan’s future care, When Aidan is big enough he will need to be carried and joisted to bed and even the toilet, its amazing what we all take for granted when you cant do the basic things in life like walk.
The donations will help with extra therapy, private appointments, specialist equipment, most importantly growing Aidans downstairs living space as there is a lot of equipment that we will need to adapt for Aidan, As parents we can plan his future with everyones help.  There are many things that Aidan will need as he grows to help with posture, learning and adaptability that will help Aidan walk let alone talk.  We may even have to try and get answers abroad for Aidan.

For the past three years we have not been able to get a diagnosis for Aidan. We have met some great people along the way, but with no answers, we can only live in hope.  Aidan is a lovely little boy, as a dad I feel that more can be done there has to be more answers out there, with all the technology in this world anything can be possible, but we cannot do this on our own. We are currently on a waiting list to have further tests for Aidan’s Diagnosis, which involves samples being sent to Romania!

As little as it may be every little helps, from sponsored team events through to parachute jumps and charity shows / raffles and auctions. We are hoping that everyone who has visited the website take some thought and help me build a bright future. you can even buy one of Aidan’s support charity Bands only £2
My dad keeps hearing from my brothers, “ dad why cant Aidan walk” will he be able to play football with us soon? As parents we cant answer those questions! but hope that someone will be able to one day, we hear so many things like the hospital specialists abroad/london will be able to help, but with this we need a lot of support for this,

Hoping you can help, we can only make this happen from people of all walks of life!

For example a new specialised tricycle which is on Aidans wishlist for play will cost £1200 this is just one of the things that Aidan will need help us help Aidan get his list of things to help build his future despite what nature puts in front of him.
